Yes, Hudson did release games on several non Japanese computers. Konami also (often in collaboration with Ocean) released several games on non Japanese systems, games like Green Beret and WEC Le Mans.
But it is rare indeed.

This also got a Spectrum release, which is kinda weird, since Hudson are japanese, and I don't rememeber any other Japanese company releasing games for the spectrum.
The Speccy version also has the engrish intact :)
Well, Hudson also released some games on Amiga (Dynablaster, BC Kid and Yo! Joe), so I guess they were aware of the european market :D

This game was going to be ported to the NES, but Hudson Soft decided to use Stop the Express as the first level of the Japan-only NES/Famicom game, "Challenger." Plus, they added three non-train-based levels.
Used to like this game. Looks identical to the Spectrum version. Mind you, they were both Z80 based, so not surprising.

Yes indeed. Almost the same. I always liked the scrolling in this game.

Boulderdash and stop the express were the first 2 games i played on the msx, great games!

Yes indeed great games. I too played two Boulderdash versions many times. :)
