I prefered the lyrics that said "It's second to the left and straight on til morning... or is it second to the right and straight on til morning?" I thought those were more profound because the clear confusion/lack of memory shows that you can never truly go back to childhood much better than repetition of falsehoods.
However, this song, Scott Alan, and of course Stephanie J Block are incredible!

where did you get the original version of this song??.. I have the current (from the CD) and the one from the release show (which was amazing, my personal favorite version)

Um. You are amazing.
My only question is this -- what version of the song is it? Because it has the lyrics of when the song was first written ("for love, for inspiration" as opposed to "for love and appreciation"), but there's no "mom" at the very very very end as she sang/said in the video of this song. Did you cut her singing scott alan's later version and edit it into the older one? or is it just a recording I've NEVER heard before?

Haha, nice catch!! Yes, the intro/very end are from the recording I found on her site, but the middle is from the recording of her live I found on youtube
