The town of Arkham, Massachusetts, is in a panic. Horrific and bizarre events have begun to occur with increasing frequency. It all seems to point towards some cataclysmic event in the near future that may spell disaster for everyone. Only one small band of investigators can save Arkham from the Great Old Ones and destruction!

Arkham Horror is a cooperative game for 1-8 players ages 12 and up, and can be played in 2-3 hours. One of the unique facets of this game is that you play against the board, so you can play it as a single player.

  • SermonAudio,

I want to ask you to please take your religious opinions away from our videos. We are respectable game retailers trying to inform people that are interested in gaming about the games they may be purchasing. You have made it clear to us that you are not interested in the content of this game. That does not remove its merit as a quality game.

In this game, you play as investigators attempting to stop evil FICTIONAL creatures from destroying the Earth. It's a theme and nothing more.

  • Bro don't talk like that. I'm a christian too and am tired of other people of like faith saying that these games are bad. Yes going out and worshiping satan is a bad thing. Is it bad to play a game where you are trying to seal a fictional alien ( read the short story ) from destroying arkham. Just because it has like names doesn't mean it is the same thing. I know other people with my name but i don't assume they are me.

  • Cheers!

  • Just picked this game up yesterday, I am intrigued to get into it. Probably play test it by myself before getting my group commited.

  • @SpecialAgentEv checking the "uh" is very difficult to do without practice and rehearsal. Try making a video sometime and you will learn about the magical "uh". I know I did :)

  • Thanks for this very informative video!

  • @Chadahoochi No, I didn't, but I can see how someone could if they had never heard of H.P. Lovecraft or his work.

  • fuck :D

  • You must learn to stop saying "uh" so much.

I learned some new things about the game though. Thank you.

  • great job with this review, I just did a review on this game on my channel but I think you did a much better job with it. Thumbs up

  • Arkham Horror is about to lose against Carcassonne in the yearly voting contest at Boardgamegeek (Geek Madness Tournament). Arkham Horror is 7 votes behind Carcassonne in this moment. If you want to vote for Arkham Horror, go to the "Official 2011 Geek Madness Tournament: Sweet Sixteen"-page (you can google it), scroll down to Arkham Horror and click the thumb.

  • Great video, great game. Thanks for posting.
