  • Who else thinks this sounds strikingly similar to the songs Joe Hisaishi writes for Hayao Miyazaki films?

  • Aside from constantly copping out on CGI, there is simply no originality in movies these days.

  • If you're listening to this and enjoy heavy metal music, check out the song "Skeksis" by Strapping Young Lad. Obviously heavily influenced by this song.

  • This was my favorite movie as a kid...:)

they don't do it like this anymore...

  • @Tactual yes that's true! but my cousin's generation ignore how true is Fern Gully moral and prefer the new Disney. I also try to make him watch Pocahantas and what did answer? "It's exactly Avatar story."

  • @Beebee7129 It's more like Fern Gully than Pocahontas

  • Strapping Young Lad baby!

  • I just think puppets and stop motion age so much better then CGI, which always ends up looking outdated and crap in a few years. Sure there are some great CGI movies (like Finding Nemo and The Incredibles), but it's extremely rare to find one with heart and charm.

  • please let the muppets do well at the box office we need more of this fantastic movies

  • some of the best music ever.......
