These guys are great musicians and good friends. Sugarbomb got signed by RCA and recorded this album, which was originally scheduled to be released on 9/11. Yep, that 9/11. Crappy coincidence. The release got pushed back 2 weeks to 9/25, and in the meantime, we all know what occurred. Immediately after 9/11, most major companies started cutting jobs, and the economy went into the crapper. Sugarbomb was supposed to tour and promote the album, but RCA cut a lot of funds for new artists.

i remember back when i first heard them - their cd was tossed in the junk bin at work (radio station) long ago and i'm STILL upset that they didn't get the recognition they deserved : ( brilliant.

Amen Jimmychipper. This is my No.1 favorite pop-rock, power-pop (call it what you will) album. Mix Cheap Trick, The Beatles, Queen and XTC with fabulous musicianship and excellent lyrics and vocals and you get this tour-de-force. This destroys bands like 'Blink 182' and numerous awful EMO groups like that. This is better power-pop than anything the Beatles ever did (and the Beatles were pretty good by all accounts) At least the fact they made one great album leaves them on a high note.

No doubt...if anyone HAS any info as to what these guys are doing. This is one of my favorite CDs along w Beatles, Queen, Yes, Jellyfish...the whole CD is so good...
