WELCOME HOME! This is what is called seed camp-- the actual gathering has not yet started, though perhaps a thousand folks have already come and have begun to tap springs and pipe in water, setting kitchens and medical tents... and Kid Village, as well as other communities. This video shows the large meadow, and little pre-gathering stress.

  • ... in actuality the distance was probably more like 100ft. And I think this was more the result of a little getting ready for thousands of people tension. Lots of these kitchens and crews don't have all their people assembled yet, so folks are short handed and trying really hard. The main meadow I believe, remains open for dinner and prayer circles throughout the gathering.

  • Welcome Home, Peace & Love, you guys did a great job setting up camp. Thanks for my first Rainbow experience, unfortunately missed the double rainbow and mud dancing.

  • You should go to a gathering and see what it is like, then you will understand, It is not forced on anybody we simply do it because we love it. I wish I could be there this year. :)

  • Why is it incumbant upon Gary and the other Rainbow Nation cicitzens who have the motivation and have invested resources to build portible al fresco summer kitchens in the wildreness to feed the other 10,000 people who show up at Rainbow Gathering totally unprepared to provide nourishment for themselves over a one-week period?

  • Gary,

How dare you put your kitchen 50 feet from that other dude's kitchen. Sounds like some pent-up hostility from past outdoor culinary foo-paas between "Gary" and the unnamed subject in this video. Dude, this main meadow seems quite large and spacious. Can't you, Gary, at least set-up your kitchen operations say at least 74' feet apart from the next nearest kitchen? After all, peace & love bra, ...

  • Hi,

    Where exactly is this please?

    thanks
