OPEN UP CONTROL PANEL, CLICK SYSTEM, AND THEN GO TO THE HARDWARE TAB AND CLICK DEVICE MANAGER,

TO: HOOK UP THE KINECT YOU NEET THE ADAPTER CORD...HOOK THE KINECT UP TO THE USB AND IT SHOULD POP UP FOR INSTALLATION.

@Ninadeunmexicano same here... it says i need to "insert a disk" ? But it wasnt in my other devices in my device manager, could that be the problem?

Mine asks for a disk after i do the last part.... and when i tell it to go to my desktop to tell it thats where its located, it just makes a noise.

@solidpeachgirl it should come with a mains adapter, in the mains adapter there is a kinect in, and a USB out, plug the mains adapter into the mains then plug the USB into computer
