On a rig called "pipa alpha" in the north sea in the 1980's it exploded killing over 100 British workers and 3 rescuers...The rig was american and was owned by occidental petroleum.
We didn't give a shit that it was american and just grieved and cleaned up the mess, we didn't go around calling it American occidental petroleum and blaming the americans.
So why can't the US do that when a rig explodes that was manned by americans, supervised by americans etc

never let a good disaster go to waste.....in this case we se a one sided, bias, skewed message presented in order to elicite a reaction (vote in the climate bill) or to benefit a political view point.
