I agree they're gaining more influence by the soft power approach like you said. The Europeans did it like that too. They didn't just start tearing up the place.

Chinese are winning the bids in Africa as they have abundant and less expenssive labour... thus they are benefiting from the reduced production and/ or construction costs... period!

... you could be some where abroad. So you may feel like we Ethiopians are not capabble of paying for our infrastructure. but as we (the people) are paying taxes Ethiopia is getting better.

Never think like this. This world never worked this way, let alone now when natural resources is running out because of population explosion. The Chinese are smart, so for every dollar they make sure they take ten. Be fearful of what woyane is selling/negotiating on our country without our knowledge.

but look though i read that they have canceled our million dollar debt that makes them better than other developed countries like USA. if you compare china is poor and trying hard to grow,, still there are the number one infrastructure builder in Africa.
