Tommy talks about nearly getting hit by a car while walking near the train station.

Summary: Tommy Edison was walking around a local town using his guide stick to navigate a neighborhoodl. When crossing the entrance to the Milford Train Station, a car side-swiped Tommy, breaking his stick in half. The driver of the car did not stop.

The incident took place on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 around 1:00pm in downtown Milford, Connecticut at the entrance of the Milford Train Station on River Street (northbound side of the tracks).

    You would think the driver would feel guilty but nope. Ive had two friends who's cane were stolen. One left it in the bathroom at a movie theater for maybe five minutes the other had it ripped out of her hands when she was walking. people are so strange sometimes

    LMAO. First of all, Tommy didn't say whether he was near a train crossing or not. Second, he's blind, not deaf. A train usually toots its horn when it's passing through, and is loud if you're up close. There are gates that close and make a ringing sound which prevent people and cars from crossing. Those gates don't open until the train passes. I'm guessing you don't live in a city with public rail transit or one with railroads at all.
