Video at 10 times real speed of the ISS with shuttle Atlantis docked flying over the UK. Astronauts had just deployed the new S4 solar array seen at the bottom of the picture. A flare can be seen from one of the Progress vehicle solar panels.

imaged using a Meade LX-200 10" scope, Philips ToUCam webcam and home written tracking software.

  • Cracking video! We have a Paramount ME and a C14, hope to get a capture myself of the ISS

  • Nice work. And I have the same question. How did you track it?

  • we are so fortunate to see something that incredible. truly living in the future when you get to see that!

  • Totally amazing. You can clearly see the shuttle on the right of the station, nose pointed "up" and tail pointed in direction of travel. Then the underside of the shuttle as it goes past.

  • @Amatoposters with computers :D

  • HOLY CRAP! HWO DID YOU TRACK THAT?

  • nice scope. 8))

  • Any chance I could find out more about the tracking software???
