lmao!

@Sirb0b1 Nah, he was always mean. Korchnoi has been a grumpy old man since the day he was born.

@mastad23 You got him exactly right. I've followed him since the early 80s and he was always like that. For some reason I still love the old bugger though...

i memorized that game once. Spassky went for the trades and overlooked a combination of Nd5 which threatens a nice double zwischenzug combination that wins a knight. However, despite this there is actually a defense that would have left Spassky in a worse position but not down material.
It was a sicillian dragon game.

sure you do mr. narcissistic idiot.

What an uncommonly sexy man :)

@jasonrepa This is nonsense. Even the ones who don't play chess can google the rules of FIDE competitions to prove you wrong. There has never been such a thing as miniature bonuses, master class points and a rule to obtaining a international title based on how many games you've learned (that would be ridicolous). Difficult to say if you're 7 or just mentally retarded, or both.

@whateverum That shows what you know.
FYI, an elo chess rating is directly proportional to how many moves it takes you to beat players. You also get extra master class rating points if you can prove that you can think 12 moves ahead.
Obviously a Grandmaster could beat an amateur in less than 30 moves.
