The joke of an all US podium of a joke competition is due only to politics and to a farcical comedy to permit the USA overrate & celebrate their artificial and non-existent victories in fencing.

All that is so pathetic & ridiculous and it's been made just to develope fencing in the US (but US people are unable to do this sport for many reasons), just for money .

That's what USA sweep in womens sabre at Beijing 2008 really is all about.

in Foil or Epèe , the 2 real fencing specialties that have any importance as for technic & specific athlet. abilities.

Different as for mens sabre, which is a long term traditional fencing weapon and involves

specific tech/athlet. abilities as for the male's body .

Also in Athens 2004 there was an unofficial agreement between the fencing great leading countries to not compete in any way and to let the americans win the medal in womens sabre .

Ehm TmmY88 , the USA women sabre is good only to staths but honestly by true facts is a ridiculous senseless podium of a ridiculous senseless competition, a senseless weapon that didn't exist till 6 years ago and it was created only to let USA win any medal in fencing ,but of which no leader country in fencing cares at all .

The best fencing countries as Italy or France

don't take seriously womens sabre and they make the weakest female fencers compete in this weapon,

As I was watching Olympics table tennis, I couldn't help but wonder if China, Singapore, & Hong Kong were a team. It appears that the tasks of Singapore and Hong Kong were to help China to eradicate all obstacles and to lose to China, should China fail to beat them.

Where's the integrity in the sport? How did China ever get to cheat like that? They're already better than everyone else. They don't need to cheat to secure victory. One can argue that SIN is an independent state & is not governed by China, but HK isn't. Thus, HK should be eliminated from competition 'cause it doesn't represent itself, but China. A nation can not have more than 1 representation. It's a shame to watch China playing teams with SIN & HK to beat the world. What a disgrace!
