How to make a free call using fring

Am i right in saying i can ring my friend on his landline in South Africa (who doesn't have a mobile) for free? Or will it use my skype credit?

internet connection is compulsary....and u must hav a 3g phn for video conference

I just added fring to my Treo 750; it works perfectly, and to make phone calls to any phone-mobil or landline-in the US, I also included skypeout! I love the fring+skype+wifi experience. Voip calls from my Treo 750.
