@leongaines I have shot that rifle only to about 450 yards .could easily do 800. The Paint i did myself,it is duracoat firearms finish.I would definitely suggest a dpms rifle they are very good and don't slam ya in the pocket book like other manufacturers.

BUT I AM LOOKING FOR A SOLUTION THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO USE THE RIFLE AS A LONG RANGE SOLUTION, THEN CHANGE THE UPPER FOR A 16BARREL CONFIG FOR CLOSE QUARTERS. tHOUGHTS?????

@ErikS308 i believe it's a shooters ridge bipod,light duty,it's on my 22 it was one the ar to show the versatility.the camming bipod is for very light guns.

Do you know any good loads for the LR-308? I have been using Varget with 168 HPBT. I can't even get sub MOA. I did good with IMR 4350 but I would like to use somthing a littel cleaner burrning. Thanks for your time.

@clw52486 43 grains of varget should be a good accurate load. Practice good marksmanship fundamentals and you should not have any issues.i have used reloader 15 but i prefer varget. i do shoot 155 grain bthp tad lighter.so let me know your results.
