Pro Basketball Players are employees and are paid by the OWNERS. What the owners pay their employees is their BUSINESS. Get it: BUSINESS. And INVESTMENT. They invest in or pay these athletes to make more money for the owners. The owners don't have to pay these salaries. They don't even have to own a NBA team. They own the team and pay the salaries to make even more money. Why does the public have a problem with the employee and not the OWNER?

Varejao is very overpaid, Ben Wallace is now very overpaid, but Hughes and Iverson have been on teams that don't fit them, which makes them seem overpaid

I think when I wrote down the names for this video Marbury actually was a decent player. But you are right. Marbury is very overpaid. He will get a new contract pretty soon and his salary will go way down.
