Supposedly 5* Severn Bore around 9:30am on 2nd March 2010. However, by the time it had reached the bridge at Over, the wave had almost completely dissipated.

  • The river was carrying a lot of freshwater, and when that is the case the upper area becomes too deep to generate a decent wave, so for future reference..high freshwater levels = got to Newnham and the Severn Bore Inn or Minsterworth, Low freshwater levels = go to the area in this video.
