@coleytube Hey, all I'm saying is a lot of the 10 5 1 stuff was bad quality. I sold all this stuff with cameras before 10 5 1(memory cards, spare batteries, case, card reader, extra lenses, filters, tripods, extended service policy, membership card, remote or cable release, flash, film, cleaning kit. I had many sales where I sold all that stuff I mentioned. I'd pick out the stuff to show the customer based on their needs and the quality of the camera or what ever they were buying.
It's not bad customer service to suggest useful items, you moron. Memory card, spare battery, case, card reader... Yeah you're right, HORRIBLE customer service. These are all items that the customer is going to be irritated at some future point by not having. It's saving them hassle in the future. It's not like the company asked you to sell a tuba as an add-on or something absurd.
Man I glad I don't have to put up with this crap anymore. 10 5 1 was designed to push crap onto the customer. I remember getting yelled at when I'd have a huge sale because I would sell the customer products that I thought would suit the customer better than the 10-5-1 crap. I do believe in some system to make sure you try to meet all the customers needs so the customer has what they need when they're out taking photos, but to sell them crap they don't need is bad customer service.
hah wow. hey that's a good way to train. hah. but... I never got the bears at my store.. we have a couple hoodies for them.. red and green.. they fit on my head.
