Learn freestyle football tricks: Henry Backheel Flick Tutorial:
it's important to try with shoes with a flat sole (ot cleats) on a flat ground. the ball/ground shouldn't be wet.
You can try to learn the trick from standing, that's easier than from running.
The most important thing is the stamping part. the foot you stamp with should touch the ground BEHIND the other foot (see at 0:29), the ball won't go straight up otherwise.

@yjk000 you shouldn't jump on the ball, you just put your foot on the ball and jump over the ball, by putting your foot on the ball, you are in control of it. you should put maximum 10% of your body weight on the ball.

It's possible on grass, but not with cleats. Even if you manage to do it with cleats, i think the chances you fail if you try in a game are too high.

i saw your video, you need to get the ball higher up. You need to stamp harder and kick the ball when it reaches the highest point
