@MrPlaysta1 I'd personally finish Demon's Souls first. This game is more of the same and I wouldn't call it easier by any stretch. Remember this is my second playthrough and even with that I'm editing out most of my deaths. There's plenty in this game to frustrate the player, but learning and adapting to conquer challenges is what makes it so great.

I would suggest leveling uchigatana to +5 before depths. Very handy! I have drake and uchigatana in right hand, shield and pyro in left. At this stage this is very effective "load out."

Where did you get that sword/katana?

Second comment: the hollow shield drops more frequently if you reverse hollowing before running around. That increases drop rate. At this stage I have 4 of those shields!
