Gurkha soldiers at Shorncliffe Barracks put on a Kukri knife display in advance of their deployment to Afghanistan next month (April 2009). Foxtrot Company of the 2nd Battalion the Royal Gurkha Rifles will be in Helmand province, as part of 19 Light Brigade, to take over the work of the main body of 2 RGR. British forces have been training and mentoring the Afghan National Police in preparation of their taking over security of the country. For more go to www.yourkenttv.co.uk.

  • @GodWarrior7771 Yes, Nepal Resides in the Himalayan mountain, and the southern most border is India, but Nepal is not a part of India, never been that way...

  • @MrOphiophagus From what I've read, I thought that Nepal resides in the Himalayan mountains, which also connects to the northernmost boarder of India and at one time was considered part of India, unless I'm mistaken that is...

  • @Molemanftw69 You should go and revise your History lesson, Nepal was never conquered by the Britain, they tried to but, were sent back, the couldn't conquer Nepal, Nepal is not India! India was conquered by Britain Not Nepal!

  • @GodWarrior7771 You're absolutely right about everything but one, "Nepal which is high up in the mountains of India" Its not in the mountains of India, Its in Northern part of India and Nepal has low lands with 72 meters as well, and highest is 8848 meters of 29000 Feet! Nepal is a Independent Country and not a part of India..and About the Bred not to fear part...They aren't intimidated by any thing, not scared of anything!

  • @Molemanftw69 They were not conquered, they were hired. Big difference! lol

  • @Q8379 The Gurkha live in Nepal which is high up in the mountains of India, up there it is hard to breathe with such little oxygen. These people are used to it and living there gives them a hereditary boost to their red blood cells. This boost gives the Gurkha fantastic endurance and strength for a small frame. Also they are bred to not fear, a Gurkha saying goes "If a man says he has no fear, he is either a liar or a Gurkha."

  • @Molemanftw69 Haha nice try.
