@andyqwerty1992 In The Comics , Thomas was just An Alcoholic and resembled The Adult James in Appearance and Demeanor though Thomas was GENUINELY abusive and mean-spirited while James merely acts tough as a way of dealing with his painful past ! If you look deep in The Adult Logan`s eyes , you can still see that sickly , timid Canadian boy ! Zebadiah ( ASSUMING he ACTUALLY existed and WASN`T JUST An Invention of The Weapon X Program`s mind games )HATED mutants and abused Victor for being one !

@andyqwerty1992 Instead , Victor`s resentment of " Jimmy " in The Film stems from him feeling his Younger Half-Brother has abandoned him and broken their childhood vows to " look after eachother no matter what and take care of ( i.e. kill ) anybody who gets in our way " in order to live like " them " ( the society Victor despises ) ! Also , interesting to note Thomas Logan in The Film is given A Similar Appearance and Personality to Victor and is shown as A Mutant with Victor`s claws !

@andyqwerty1992 In The Film , Victor Creed was merged with Dog Logan who is ACTUALLY James " Logan " Howlett`s Older Paternal Half-Brother from The Comics ! This also resulted in Thomas Logan( James and Dog`s Father ) and Zebadiah Creed ( Victor`s Father ) being merged ! Interestingly enough , in The Comics Dog was slavishly loyal to Thomas despite his abusive nature and swore revenge on " Jimmy " for killing Thomas while Victor had a nonchalant " he deserved it " reaction in The Film !
