@ginosev even if you took the spring off all the way the right way, cutting springs to lower your car is kinda stupid. The factory ride height will be off, the struts won't work right, the alignment will be way off, and the unibody will bottom out on the rubber bumpers.

You wouldn't want to cut the spring. You might want it in the future if you want to go back to stock.

Thank you everyone for the comments. The point of the video was exactly that. how NOT to change a suspension spring. In my years as a mechanic I know only too well how dangerous this would have been hence why not engaging in the full act of cutting through. To do it correctly you will require spring compressors of the correct size and a bench vice to hold the strut while you compress the springs.
