Well considering that Bach was probably the greatest western composer who ever lived, and considering that the SM Passion is one of his greatest works, I'd say the rest of the piece is rather good.

do you think him superior to mozart and beethoven. I should listen to the rest at some point.

Ce n'est pas de problem sur la superiorité ni la inferiorité mais quoi du existence de Dieus, oui je dis que "EXistence", exterieurment les oubres de Bach sont la salvación de lâme humaine ou quelquefois on peut dire que de la ciel et les de Beethoven, pour les susis personels et mundials. Mozart, c'est sur la joie ou les outres sentiments que je ne me regardes pas en moment.

Well, that's like comparing apples and oranges isn't it. . . but if I had to answer, yes, it terms of shear musical genius Bach is the greatest that ever lived. No one has EVER found a single mistake in well over a thousand know works Bach wrote, and many more pieces have been lost!
