sorry i do not agree.HIIT is improving lactic anaerobic power, lactic anaerobic capacity, VO2 max, hypertrofy the heart muscle. Those are the main effects.Maybe using Extensive Continuous Training(uniform) by maintaining the intensity at 60-75% of VO2 max you will really burn the fats. I AGREE THAT AFTER the TABATA training for many hours your metabolism is faster and you wil burn but if you refers only to the system, meanwhile your training NO WAY.Good Luck

@paulababusca Tabata protocol improves aerobic AND anaerobic capacities while also being an effective fat burner. It's just another way to think about High Intensity Interval Training
