We should note that Hip Hop and rap has two distinct influences when communicating to their audience. @Palsharpton How do you know what albums I have? I grew up in the 80's. When I listen to a song with a hard southern style beat, it helps channel my aggression. There was absolutely no lyrical content in Future's song. Real hip hop is anything but giving in to corporate pressure. KRS said, "You can be an MC and be a Rapper, but you can't be a rapper and be an MC." HIP HOP isn't dead! It's being overshadowed by the real message of true MC's. So stop saying hip hop is dead!
