  • Why does japan get all the good stuff

  • Sad that Sega really over extended themselves.

This was released in '91 and was using a processor that was developed in '82?

32 X, CD add on,...The Neptune nearly released....

They really had no idea where they wanted to go.

Would love to get my hands on one of these still though.

  • @ghostbirdofprey um...ok im taking that you are a person that now nothing about tecnology so....

you can do this already just buy a nice desktop pc a good hdtv cable a hdtv conect them both and you have exacly that, just get an emulator for the xbox and ps3 and you are good to go, I have that set on my room, but I dont use it for emulators I use it for video edition and flash animations xD...(and some FPS games =P)

  • ACID

  • Wouldn't it be neat if they made something like this that had an xbox or playstation inside of it instead (and modern parts of course)

  • Still after eleven months I have to add some more differences between the two... the Amstrad was actually a PC with a Megadrive inside it, nothing more, while the Japanese teradrive had some sort of interactivity between the PC and Megadrive side which makes it cool in its own way.

  • Actually it is, but the Amstrad version is more functional, this one had some awkward hardware in the PC side.

  • AWSOME!

  • Sweet, i thought it was called the Mega PC over here but that appears to be associated with Amstrad only - hmmm, nevertheless thx for this info! +5pts

  • I can never seem to find one of these on eBay.
