  • HI chappers im thinking of getting the dark terror but only want a 2x12 cab what would you recommend getting to release the power of this bad ass head :) thanks

  • @aAdamToRemember Get a Zilla Cab's Fat Boy ;-)

  • Hey man! do you think a blackstar ht 5 with 2 4x8 would be loud enough for rehearsals and gigs?

  • @davsynlee It has been done, so you could... but only if you mic up and have a PA ;-)

  • @Sulcuscentralis None. Dime used solid state amps. If you can get your hands in a Randall head you're in the right track. If not get something along the lines of a Crate Flexwave. Get a good cabinet, a wammy pedal, something like an harmonizer and a guitar with high output pickups and your done. But don't expect to sound like Dime. He's one of those guys that produces a lot of his tone by the way he plays.

  • Line-6 was never really made for "clean" sounds

  • dark terror sounds totally better

  • Dark terror miles better IMO.

  • Line6 all the way

  • that is the best sounding line 6 i've ever heard. i usually hate line 6 amps, but that has a pretty heavy modern metal tone.

  • Which one is better for Pantera-type tones (early 90's era)?

  • How about Line 6 DT25 and the Mini Recto?

  • I traded my TIny Terror for a Dark Terror. Best. Deal Ever. I will never part with this amp.

  • Hey Chappers! My friend has a Peavey Valve King and a Marshall MG100-HDFX, do you think they would be a good mix through the Switchbone?
