4E is more simple. Too much simple for lot of players. My players prefer 4E because of the illusion that you are more powerful than in 3.5

But you're not O_o. Perhaps early on when you can get 1 or 2 dice damange at the start, but given lvls 6+ fighter classes get that anyway...

I like 4E don't get me wrong, but next to 3.5, I'd take 3.5 any day.

4E is awful because people other than nerds can enjoy it. THEY TOOK OUR VIDEO GAMES AND NOW THEY WANT TO TAKE OUR HOBBY?!

4e is awful because in an attempt to bring balance to the game, they've made EVERYTHING THE EXACT SAME FUCKING THING. Also, the RP element if gone.
