I think the question itself especially the way it was phrased wasn't as seriouse question to begin with.
The question should have been does the President have a plan not does the President have a secret plan
How should he have answered that question.
Should he have said no
If it was a secret wouldn't he still say no and keep it a secret
There was no good answer, it was a stupid question.

I don't know which trainwreck was worse, this press briefing that Josh did or the one that Toby did when CJ was promoted to Chief of Staff after Leo's heart attack. Those two should be banned from the press room for LIFE. It was still hilarious to watch. Love the West Wing!!
