@boulevardtalonman Yeah, I have an SKS too. I got one of these and put the nicer stock on it as sort of a close-quarters/indoor home defense or building clearing weapon. Hard to get a full sized rifle to bear very fast in a tight hallway or in a door. The Hi-Point fills that role nicely while the bigger babies get brought out for the serious business where there's room.

@futuresolider96 A heavier load with a higher mv, it could get a bit more accurate.
-
@LouCars no and why would you want it in that
-
can you get this in 9x23 largo?
-
if anyone is thinking about getting this gun, put the truglo dot sight on it. the most accurate gun at 25-50 yds ive shot in a long time.
-
@boulevardtalonman I think you'd be able to get them straight from Hi-Point or any Hi-Point dealer.
-
I forgot to mention that mine has whatever scope hi-point sold them with sometimes, Does anyone know where to get a set of Iron sights for it?

I had already shot it actually, Only about 30 rounds but it seems perfectly fine for a 9mm carbine (Im a larger fan of .30cal stuff). I think I will be useing it as a varmit gun and possibly home defence with a little more range time. It does seem estremely consistant with its shot placement.
These rifles are great for the money, but IMHO if I had to pay $250 for one, I would go for a nice SKS. But they are out there CHEAP and I already have an SKS so Im happy with it
I actually found a used one today at a pawn shop for 119 out the door today, I couldnt resist it.
