Hate and stupidity are essentially the same thing, for it is stupid to hate. But then again, not all hatred is stupid. Some hatred is benign, when that hatred becomes overt, then it becomes stupid, but it is still hate, and therefore responsible for conflict.
So, you didn't get the cheerleader, because you weren't a football player. Or the cheerleader didn't get the football player because some other skanks got them. You hate cheerleaders and football players, she hates them too. Stupid hate.
We need a Saul Alinsky for the 21st century. We need to find more effective ways to fight injustice. And it needs to start with exorcising the counterproductive excesses of our own generations (many of which are on display on Youtube).
I'm looking for the key. Because while I have no problem with protest, I think it does more for the protesters than it does for the causes they champion.
The best point you made is that we can do better; that this present reality is not all we are capable of.
No, it has more to do with stupidity and the mating patterns of people that makes the world the idiot filled, violent place it is today. Cheerleaders like football players, but there is not enough football players to go around, so therefore.....
Peace... A good sentiment, but wholly unrealistic. There is simply too much hate in the world, all of it based on ideologies. One group thinks it's better than another, or wants what the other has, and vice-versa. This almost always grows in scope and usually leads to conflict and war. As long as mankind remains the dominant type of life on this planet, we will always have hate. I see no realistic way to avoid, circumvent, or stop it, no matter how much we may want to on a personal basis.
Wonderful video! The discussion on inner peace hits home for me because with my borderline personality disorder god, I struggle fairly often with peace toward myself and peace toward every single one I'm fortunate to care about! (I hesitated a little to say that.)
I'm always in bed when your show is on. Your country is behind the times, 5 hours behind in your case. I've never felt pain during a fight, I think the brain blocks it all out. Thanks for the response.
