  • nice vid. but it didn't help at all :P jks

  • can i do this with my nepanthis pticher?

its grown too big, and i want to cut it, but dont know where to cut it, can if i do take the top half of, can i plant that? thanks

  • @vimvigernvi lol actually, thats a PERFECT way for it to NOT work. 24 hours? lol what planet are youfrom? and humidity has ALWAYS been the enemy of venus fly traps. or as you call them, myhomeplanet fly traps

  • because, the mother plant can produce more leaf to propagate more butterworth and plus you have a 80% chance that your leafs cutting can grow into plantlet

  • Its not adviseable but if you do take a leaf cutting from your venus fly trap un pt the plant I peel a healthy leaf down as to keep a little bit of the rhimzone attatched to it. Put it on its perfered media making sure the bit of rhimzome that is attatched to it is touching the moist media. Have it under a fluorecent bulb of 40 wats 24 hours aday and under a humidity dome.

  • So he says dont take more than 50% of the leaves of the butterworts? Why not tear the hole plant apart and get twice as many plants?

  • ya so far that hasent happened yet so i'm doing some stem cuttings hopefully they turn out nice
