Protesting Halloween at White House 2009

"The best treat [Obama] could give to military families on Halloween is to announce that he will not support the surge and will instead design exit strategies" said Code Pink about the 10-31-09 White House protest. Police barricaded Pennsylvania Avenue and protesters ended up entertaining the kids and families, mostly picked by lottery. Military families evidently had a special entrance elsewhere. We protested wars against Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran. We gave the kids quite a dramatic show of ghouls and vampires sucking Americans blood to feed their wars. Those kids will be paying for it with 1/3 their salary til they die - not that big spending pro-war people care. Where's the Tea Party when you really need it?? Hope one of the kids asked Obama when he was going to END the wars!!

Well, the kiddos didn't seem to enjoy it, so HOPEfully they will see what the "peacebringer" actually brought them when they are old enough to vote. IF there is still a democracy left by that time.

The children were confused or amazed. Yes, he does seem to be continuing the US imperialist war mongering policies of the last 60 years. Let's see, who are we fighting this year - East Asia, Eurasia, Oceania - I can never keep it straight. But as long as they keep us scared and poor they think we'll never rebel. (See movie 1984 next time it's on - gee sure seems FAMILIAR!)

This is typical of those who support killing children in other countries. They would throw a grenade a protesters and kill dozens of innocent children. This person is no relation to Fredrich Hayek who was a good, peace loving person.
