Pretty sure that weapon is what I have traditionally described as a "tear gas gatling gun" containing multiple tear gas canisters. I've had one pointed at me by Alameda Sheriff Deputies in the past. It's a great tool for scaring the shit out of a large group of people, and they shouldn't be allowed to have them. I'm not sure giving the police non-lethal or less-lethal weapons is a very good idea. Shoot with real bullets, or negotiate, no grey areas. Soon they'll be sending drones. :/
