LS1 S14 Nissan 240SX Beech Bend 1/4 mile pass

Went to the track Sat. after the cam swap to see if I could break into the 11s. I thought I could do it even though I wasn't willing to launch hard, but crappy 60 foots aren't very forgiving.

What do you mean exactly? Were you talking about chirping 4th? The only thing I hear in 4th (in the video) is the fireball it shoots (can be seen much better at night) from touching on rev limit for a split second, but it chirps the tires as well.

What are the specs on the cam???

Does it still have the stock 241 heads???

@streetelite240 something is holding your hp back, with that ms3 you should be over 400rwhp.

You have to realize that is on a Dyno Dynamics...reads very low compared to a Dynojet. I doubt you'll find any other cars with an MS3 trapping 123 so the power is there...just not measuring it on a similar dyno.

@firechicken76 i know, dyno numbers dont mean anything, the 123 trap speed is a better indicator of the performance level, ive got an 88 trans am gta, it has an ls1, trapped 112 last time i went to the track, i put a FI cam in it, so it should be around 115, the cam is for the supercharger im putting in, that should really wake it up :D

@porkpig350 yeah KA is iron block, better for turbo for high power, BUT! the KA with a 5spd weighs more than the all aluminum ls1 with a 6spd manual. Save weight and double the power wihtout doing anything. (and with the extra 4 grand saved after spending 6 on motor and install...a turbo kit can put you at well over 7-800hp.) get your facts before you post about something you dont konw about. Love the car man! keep it up!

lovely when you prove that there be no replacement for displacement....try and put 10k on a ka24 and see what you come up with
