Since you don't seem to have a clue, I'll help you out a bit. A follower of Jesus would be a Christian and, in turn, that would be someone who has aspirations of acting in a "Christ-like" fashion (hence the word 'Christ" incorporated in the word Christian). Okay, now that I've got a beginning for you, why don't you take it from here. That is, if you can. If you can't continue on with the definition along with some examples then I guess you amount to a typical Christian.
@edwebo you are right by God's Grace we are saved and by His Grace we are sanctified. That means our daily walk is a walk towards a greater knowledge and reverance for Him a narrowing of our path so to speak. Jesus prayed for us in John 17:17 Sanctify them with your truth, your word is truth. My pastor says it well when he described our walk to be a yo-yo going up stairs there will be ups and downs but the overall growth over time is a deeper understanding and committment to the LORD, w/ prayer!
what I took from Francis is that many "luke warm" christians are those who do the minimum and believe they are going to heaven automatically because they accepted christ, "yes" those are the only people that can get to heaven but each of us are to be judged by god accordingly and would you hate to not make the cut because you never truly served his kindgom or shared his word with unbelievers.
I think we as christians hide behind these excuses that allow us to live conformed lives to this world like, " only god can judge, or, God knows my heart, or we all sin" yes, but I think these "lukewarm" warm christians are sometimes chracterized by thsose people who dont actively seek god in their everyday life in everything they do, yes they may go to church, or pray before food, but "ITS GOD" how can you not be passionate and HOT for him
