Great way to bake bread. Fun to experiment with whatever toppings you have on hand.

  • Good question. I like using Stevia but have not baked with it. I think it is suppose to hold up in baking but not positive.

  • thanks so much JoAnn for the response I can't wait to try baking and cooking with your recpies :) thanks again for your help :)

  • thank you! Happy Cooking.

  • Thanks so much! Go for it. It is easy and ummmy.

  • Hi Joann

I was wondering if you have recipes for 1.5 quart crock pots? I would love to try your recipes if you do.

  • I am going to try writing another response. I did earlier today but think I did not post correctly. Sorry! I cook/bake in 1.5 qt frequently. Baked sweet potato. Add 1/3 c water. Cook about 5 hours. OR 1/2# beans (3-3 1/2 c water. cook 8-10 hours for most beans.) For a variety of recipes see Fast Cooking in a Slow Cooker Every Day of the Year. Many can be cooked in little pots. May need to reduce the recipe but it works. the 1.5 pots i have used seem to cook between low and high temp.
