Project-JK: Off Road Evolution Conquers the Rubicon Trail Little Sluice

Back in September of 2009, Cindy and I were invited to head up to the Rubicon Trail with Mel Wade of Off Road Evolution and Ali Mansour of Petersen's 4 Wheel Drive & Off-Road and be witness to what would be the first ever run through the Little Sluice Box in a Jeep JK Wrangler. Two attempts were required to complete this extremely challenging section of trail but, Mel was able to conquer it and, you can see how he did it in this short video.

Im new to wheeling, and i was wondering. is puting the V8 completely necessary or is the stock V6 just as good?

@blackshadow27 i don't know who wouldn't want a v8 but, the v6 works just fine and it's what most of us use.

wayalife...Do you recomend an auto or 6spd for wheeling? looking to get an rubicon unlimited and im torn between the two

@Mr04MustangCobra if you're new to wheeling, i think you will find that an auto is much easier to use on the trail.

@wayalife haha trust me, i would LOVE to put the V8 in. but its the fact that im 20 and dont have the moneyy to put it in yet:P
