Clint Walker Is Ben Quick

Clint Walker plays Texas Sheriff Ben Quick in the 1969 movie "The Great Bank Robbery" He poses as a laundry business owner named Ben Smith, working with Chinese secret service agents who do the laundry and dig a tunnel from the laundry back room to the local bank so they can take the money for safe keeping since they know that a bank robbery is imminent. Zero Mostel poses as a pastor and leads a group of larceny specialists that also digs a tunnel from the church to the bank to rob it. Kim Novak is Miss Lyda, part of Zero Mostel's gang, but she soon falls for the attractive and polite Ben Smith. Here they meet at a town dance where Clint is graceful and light on his feet and then afterward, Miss Lyda tricks him into thinking that he is being a bit forward wtih her when in reality, it is she who is putting the moves on him.

not a bad movie at all.enjoyable fare for a quiet afternoon."i dont know what came over me all of a sudden" was so funny.you see a different side of clint walker in this film.also see him in 'pancho villa".he was very funny in this film also.fine image he presents.john wayne,matt dillon and cheyenne bodie.these are heroes.

Your right about those Gene Autry Musical moments ... and those Maverick Memories!!! ofcourse they play the same ones till you go" NUTS" ..... I got a reply from Warner Bros in response to my questions about wether they were going to release the complete Cheyenne series, as well as the films he made for them....in essence they said they have no information regarding the release of the DVD 's at this time..... I don't understand the hold up, I have seen so many post asking for it.....It's Crazy.

latest John Wayne tribute - wasn't that on, like,

the 30th anniversary of his death? Why can't

they recognize Clint while he's able to appreciate
