HIDDEN TREASURE ACADEMY (Posen School)

Hidden Treasure Academy (HTA) is the outreach and educational arm of Hidden Treasure Music Company that offers music curriculums to at-risk youth in the Chicago land area. HTA works to reinforce childrens value and appreciation for reading, creative writing, and various forms of artistic expression. http://hiddentreasureacademy.org

This video goes into a 5th grade classroom where we conducted a 8 week music workshop during after school hours in Posen Elementary School, District 143 1/2. We were amazed by some of the responses that the youth made regarding how much our workshops had improved their behavior and grades throughout the course.

Under the leadership of Jeremy "Vessel" Holmes http://www.whoisvessel.com, HTA has been empowering youth around the country with workshops that are innovative and critical to the development of the emerging generation.
