"Special deals negotiated by the White House with lobbyists which have not been disclosed to the American people"... and apparently even members of Congress and the CBO.
The Executive branch has regulatory powers but surely not the power to circumvent The People by circumventing our representatives in Congress.
This is unconstitutional behavior and is therefore an act of treason.
Senator Cornyn please don't request transparency, DEMAND IT or else let it become an article for impeachment.

You're damn right The People want to know what this bill contains before it's voted on!
How can a member of Congress in good faith under oath to abide by our Constitution vote on a bill that he/she hasn't even read???
Well said Sen. Cornyn! I find it despicable that even members of Senate are largely unaware of the backroom wheeling and dealing of the powerbrokers - Senate leadership/committee chairs, White House, and lobbyists.
The system seems completely out of control! God help us all!

Thank you senator ! I agree, I and every concerned american I know would love to be able to at least watch all legislation. Secrecy does arouse suspiscion, it's one of the reasons why I am such a pleasent fella to some of your colleges : )
