There are different Variants (A#) of this gun like any gun.

@highground1 Between the M1 and M1A1, this is the M1. You can tell by its rear sight, as M1A1 had protective ears, and the M1 did not.

@lucius1976 And even if they pass the new law, there is always going to be ways for criminals to get guns, it just ruins it for everybody else. This is a free country, and the weapon law is strict as it is.

@lucius1976 The weapon laws is strict enough already, there will probably be some changes made(Another way to make easy money), but wanting to make it so deactivated weapons have to be registered, pay a yearly sum, having the doctor decide if you are qualified to own a firearm and regular checkups of your character is just stupid. If they are going to do that, then why not restrict the usage of knives and cars, they are the things that kill most in our country.

@lucius1976 A couple of things: First, my comment was posted a year ago. Second: This is what always happens after a tragedy involving firearms, they want to make a new law, an even stricter one. On average, there are 40 murders a year in Norway, the highest percent are killed by blunt force or with a sharp object, the percentage of people being killed by firearms in this country is very low. And how many are killed in car accidents a year? About 250 a year.
