@bluelightdawn I'm glad that someone pointed that out. It's a shame that people show so little interest in art anymore... luckily (more or less) movies like this open a few eyes to the beauty of Dante's work and that of other great artists.

Actually the lyrics come from one of Dante Alighieri's sonnets, it's a dialogue between him and his beloved Beatrice

@MrAppleSunshine, Unfortunately we are all wormmeat and destined to be at our best, fertilizer for the coming generations. I am requesting the 1986 Reels version of Bad moon rising as my sendoff from the planet. This goes in keeping with my rather pessimistic view on todays society and the future of our kind. Brilliant and touching song, what a pity.
