The song is about Amy Lee's relationship with an abusive boyfriend, but it can be used to describe any type of abusive relationship. Lee said the song is about emerging from a "bad" relationship, explaining "And when you're at the end of your rope, when you're at the point where you realize something has to change, that you can't go on living in the situation that you're in. It's cool. It's a very strong song."

Going Under is Amy's favourite song from Fallen

  • I love the demo track! Thanks for sharing. You can really hear Amy's pitch and range soooo clearly. I hav heard her sing this live many times and she always nails it. So glad they are back!

  • ya think my school would let me wear my makeup like she has at 0:06? :D

  • I love the band!! but when i was listening to the beginning where she like "now i will tell you what I've done for you" i couldn't help but think of The God Father.

  • Her voice here Just

    Too Amazing..

    even More then the original

  • Who would abuse Amy.. or anyone for that matter.

  • did you know guys that the whole album fallen was made by four members?

amy ben david and there producer.they had to pay musicians for the orchestra stuff

i reaaaally love fallen ,i think the open door is a mess.

  • I've always thought the demo version sounded a little happier than the fallen version, I like how it fades out at the end, and you can hear more background vocals :)

  • @soundsxofxfreedom Oh, it took me a moment to realize you meant the song "you," not me... Because it was supposed to be private and they never intended to release it.
