I had the good fortune to attend a backyard BBQ in Evanston, IL back in the early 70's at Joan And Tyler Wilson's house. John Prine and Steve Goodman were there and put on quite an amazing set of music on the front porch that day. Good Times, Great People.

I have seen John in concert at least once a year for more years then I care to count and he has never failed to dedicate this to Steve. It always adds to this amazing song.
