Crash after Toto Wolff´s Nürburgring Nordschleife Record of 7:03,28

http://renn.tv After lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife in a 7:03,28 record Toto Wolff has a big moment at Fuchsröhre, when his right rear tyre explodes. Toto escaped from his Nürburgring crash without major injuries.
In the 3 min. onboard video of 15. April 2009 you can get an a lively impression of the perspective from within a Porsche 997 GT3 RSR. This holds also true for the crash on the Nordschleife itself. The video ends with Toto leaving the car and thus putting an end to an exciting work day at the Nürburgring that had two big moments: the record and the crash!

Nachdem Toto Wolff mit 7:03,28 einen neuen Rekord auf der Nürburgring Nordschleife für Fahrzeuge ohne Turboaggregat aufgestellt hat, kommt es in der Fuchsröhre zu einem fürchterlichen Unfall aufgrund eines Reifenplatzer rechts hinten. Toto übersteht seinen Crash am Nürburgring jedoch unbeschadet.
Das gut 3-minütige Onboard-Video vom 15. April 2009 zeigt das Erleben der Rennstrecke aus dem Porsche 997 GT3 RSR nahe am Geschehen des Fahrers. Der Crash auf der Nordschleife wird so beinahe unmittelbar erlebbar. Das Video endet, als Toto aus dem Auto aussteigt und seinen erreignisreichen Arbeitstag an der Nordschleife nach Rekord und Crash beendet.

Why the hell did the cam change at the moment the accident happened?

The front view cam has been destroyed at the crash and did not record anything during or after. Therefore I used the driver cam to show the complete time span. / Mike

Really great driver and skills! Good that he's fine but it's interesting how easy he took this accident. I mean compared to amount of people that died at Frost section back then, its quite shocking.

wofür ist eigentlich dieser hebel an der schaltung? ich habs jetzt bei sovielen rennwagen mit sequenzieller schaltung gesehen. aber noch nie gehört wofür der hebel ist.
