  • couldn't just sync audio and video? damn, is it so hard?

  • Makes me question why we were messing around with Macs that could not do this at the time for pro-creative content making, ie graphic design. I never knew! All it needed was a killerapp like Aldus PM or Quark but Quark pulled out. Bastards.

You say it and beside, I love my Amiga until today. When I look on the boards design of the Amiga, I fly away every time. Old school micro technology at its finest, and so well designed. Commodore trusted more on the market power of IBM and Microsoft, rather than vision and creativity. IBM and its lobbyists madealmost all potential computer flat forging.

  • It's amazing what Steve Jobs accomplished when he was at NeXT and It was a good choice that Apple bought NeXT and let Steve be the CEO again because in my opinon it made Apple as good as it is today. It would also be awesome if he did tutorials like this more often...

  • amazing what we take for granted 2 decades later...

  • Amiga Systems also had all this abilities but for much less money. Custom chipset, multitasking OS, graphics cards, video cards and nice GUI environment, not to mention 3D apps etc.

  • Proof that it was created in the early 90's: NeXT wasn't sued out of business for using Donald Duck and Star Wars. :)

  • just like mac os x... biggest problem was that it was too expensive.
