The good life was secured for the PAD elites under queen Sirikit and king Bhumibol reigne of terror,but Sirikit and Bhumibol are aging and slowly dying,a threat to the rich elites of thailand,that their champagne caviar way of life will never be the same again under true democracy.The straw that broke the camel back is when Thaksin take initial steps to improve the lives of the poor,the overwhelming support for Thaksin by the rural poor was too much for the PAD elites to bare..stage a coup !!

It was a hostile takeover or if you wish "a coup for the rich" ,if only they could turn back the time and let Thaksin finish serving the remainder of his term as a lawfully and democratically elected thais prime minister,then none of this chaos would take place,but instead they place their trust in crooks the like of Sondhi,Suthep,Prem,Abhisit and Sonthi,Thailand is now a kingdom divided,ruled by dictators.The like of Than Shwe burma...

According to my opinion democracy is not exist in Thailand.What you have seen here is the strong evidence to my belief.
