The British occupied Ottoman/Arab land, there weren't many Jews there and there definitely weren't any Israelis there. The British are the ones that built the foundation of Israel. Haven't you heard of the Balfour Declaration? The British Empire fell apart largely due to financial reasons resulting in Britain fighting against the Axis. You really need to research some history.
